Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Mentivo collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, AI features, Daily Oracle, widgets, analytics, ads, purchases, and support services.
Data we collect
Depending on the app and features you use, we may process app usage data, purchase or subscription status, premium entitlement status, device language, app settings, crash diagnostics, advertising identifiers where permitted, support messages, AI question text, selected Oracle style, selected question topic, saved answers/history, optional birth date, optional form of address or tone, zodiac sign, derived astro profile, Daily Oracle content, widget payload, and 3-day widget preview dates.
AI processing
For AI-powered features, question text may be sent from the app to our backend and then to an AI provider to generate an answer. When possible, we avoid sending unnecessary personal data to AI providers. For astrology-related personalization, the app may derive context such as zodiac sign, element, or selected tone before generating a response.
Home Screen Widgets
Widget content may be stored locally or in shared app storage so the widget can display Daily Oracle content outside the app. The widget does not process purchases and does not call AI providers directly.
Daily Oracle and astro context
Daily Oracle may use derived context such as zodiac sign, selected style, language, moon phase, lunar context, and optional profile settings. Exact birth date should be avoided in AI requests when derived context is enough.
Analytics
Analytics events may include mode, language, question length, user type, answer type, app opens, purchases, ads, feature usage, and widget usage. Full question text should not be sent in analytics events.
Advertising
Free users may see ads from advertising partners such as Google AdMob. Advertising partners may process device and ad interaction data according to their own policies and user consent settings.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We may receive transaction status and product identifiers needed to unlock Premium, credits, widget access, or restore purchases.
Data deletion
You can delete local history in the app and request backend/account deletion. See Delete Data for instructions.
